Leni, a young girl fighting cancer, clings to life, while her mother juggles working at a restaurant by day and surviving the streets by night. When Leni’s mother falls for Marcel, a rebellious playwright who lives by his own rules, their lives collide in unexpected ways. In a world where fate seems set, these three characters will change each other's destinies.
